The Milwaukee Brewers are suspending the rehab assignment of pitcher Brandon Woodruff. Woodruff has not pitched since undergoing shoulder surgery during the 2023 season. He began a rehab assignment last month, and made six rehab starts since April 12. But now, Woodruff is suffering from tendinitis in his right ankle, and will be sidelined for at least seven days. Woodruff posted a 3.02 ERA for Milwaukee between 2019 and 2022 and he was 36-22 during that span. He won a career high 13 games for Milwaukee in 2022.
