Knecht to compete in track and field at UW-LaCrosse

Marshfield Tiger track and field standout Ethan Knecht will compete for
the UW-LaCrosse men's track team in the spring of 2026.  Ethan won the
Wisconsin Valley Conference indoor championship in the shot put in each
of the last two seasons.  He also earned second place in both the shot
put and the discus at the conference outdoor meet last spring.  Ethan
then advanced to the WIAA Division I state meet, where he finished 14-
th in both the shot put and discus in the spring of 2024.  A number of
Marshfield athletes have competed in the track program at UW-LaCrosse
in recent years, but there are no former Tigers on the LaCrosse track
and field roster this season.
