St. Mary’s to have new mens basketball coach

The men's basketball coach at St. Mary's of Winona is resigning after
seven seasons with the Cardinals to pursue an opportunity outside of
coaching.  Joe Fano is stepping down after seven years at St. Mary's
with an overall record of 66-94.  His best season was the 2022-23
season, when the Cardinals were 16-10.  St. Mary's was 6-19 this
season.  Former Edgar High School standout Tyler Engel played for Fano
at St. Mary's between 2018 and 2022.
