Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho of Marshfield will soon begin a rehab assignments with the Jays' class 'A' farmclub in Dunedin, Florida. Daulton earned the American League Gold Glove award for his work in centerfield last season, but is recovering from off- season shoulder surgery. He is able to hit, and played in 12 spring training games for the Jays this year, batting .242 with four home runs. Daulton has been at Toronto's extended spring training base in Florida as he regains throwing strength in the shoulder.
