Marshfield’s Lenz to play college golf

Marshfield Tiger student-athlete Brielle Lenz will play college golf
next season at Northwestern of St. Paul.  Brielle is a three-time All-
Conference first team selection in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
She finished in third place in the conference girls golf individual
standings this season, earning first place in the conference leg held
at Northern Bay Resort with a score of 42.  As a junior in 2023,
Brielle won two conference legs, and shot a season-best 38 at one leg
at Crane Meadows, finishing fourth in the final conference standings.
She was also fourth in the conference standings a sophomore in 2022,
and 12-th as a freshman in 2021.  Northwestern plays in the Upper
Midwest Athletic Conference, which is the same conference as UW-
Superior.  Northwestern has won the conference championship in women's
golf in three of the last five seasons, and will compete at the NCAA
Division III national tournament
in Williamsburg, Virginia next month.
