Former Green Bay-Notre Dame standout Gracie Grzesk will leave
the Wisconsin Badger women's basketball program to play for UW-
Green Bay. Grzesk helped Notre Dame win three consecutive WIAA
girls basketball championships during her high school career,
scoring a school record 1839 points in four seasons. She then
enrolled at Wisconsin last fall, and appeared in 16 games for
the Badgers, averaging one point and one rebound per game.
Gracie's father Gary played for UW-Green Bay in the 1990's and
is now the men's basketball coach at St. Norbert. Her mother,
the former Liz Hauger, played four years of basketball at
Youngstown State and was Player of the Year in the Mid-Continent
Conference in 1997. She then assisted former coach Kevin
Borseth at UW-Green Bay between 2002 and 2004.
