Marshfield native Adam Stenavich will likely interview for the Chicago Bears's head coaching vacancy. Adam now serves as the Green Bay Packers' Offensive Coordinator, and the Bears are asking the Packers for permission to speak with Adam about their head coaching position. Adam has served as Packer Offensive Coordinator since 2022 when Nathaniel Hackett left Green Bay to become Denver's head coach. Although Packer coach Matt LeFleur calls the plays in Green Bay, Adam is considered a key part of the Packer transition from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love. Adam also worked as an offensive line coach for Green Bay between 2019 and 2021. He was San Francisco's offensive line coach for two seasons, and also worked on the football staffs at Michigan, Northern Arizona and San Jose State. Adam played college football at Michigan, and was on the practice squad of several NFL teams before starting his coaching career. There are about 20 candidates for the Bears' head coaching vacancy, including former Packer coach Mike McCarthy, who announced this week that he would not return as head coach at Dallas next season.
