Varsho likely to miss start of 2025 season

Marshfield's Daulton Varsho may miss the start of the 2025 major league
baseball season, but Toronto Blue Jays officials do believe he will
return to action early in the season. Daulton is recovering from
shoulder surgery, and there is no official timetable for his return to
action. Daulton won the American League Gold Glove Award for his work
in centerfield in 2024, but injured his shoulder late in the season and
underwent surgery in September.  Toronto General Manager Ross Atkins
now says it could be unrealistic for Daulton to be ready to play when
the 2025 season begins.
