Once again this year, UW-Whitewater leads NCAA Division III football in home
attendance. The Warhawks drew an average crowd of 13,100 per home game to
Perkins Stadium. St. John's of Minnesota was second with an average
attendance of 9400. In third place was Maryville of Tennessee at 6400, and
UW-Eau Claire ranks fourth at 5200 fans per home game. UW-Platteville is
17-th on that list, averaging 3600 fans per home contest. Eau Claire
achieved it's large attendance figures by playing on-campus at Simpson
Field, even though the Blugolds were just 2-8 this season.
