The UW-LaCrosse women's soccer team will play this weekend in an NCAA Division III regional in St. Louis. The Eagles are 16-3-2 and won the WIAC post-season tournament. They will play Simpson of Iowa in a first round match on Saturday. The winner plays Washington of St. Louis or DePauw of Indiana in the regional final on Sunday. Meanwhile, in men's soccer, both UW-Eau Claire and UW-Platteville will compete in regionals this weekend. Eau Claire won the WIAC men's tournament and will host a regional at Eau Claire this weekend. In first round matches on Friday, the Blugolds face Lake Forest of Illinois, and Hope of Michigan plays DePauw. The championship match is on Saturday. Platteville has an at-large bid into the tournament, and will play at a regional at St. Peter, Minnesota. The Pioneers face North Central of Illinois in one semi-final on Saturday, while Gustavus Adolphus plays the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the other. The championship match is scheduled for Sunday.
