The Marquette men’s basketball program is adding a player for the fall of 2023. 6’9 power forward Al Amadou of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania will enroll at Marquette next fall.
Amadou now attends Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, and is ranked as the number-23 power forward in the nation in this year’s senior class.
Amadou had nine Division I scholarship offers from schools such as St. John’s, Miami and Georgia Tech, along with several mid-majors. Amadou is the second player to commit to Marquette for the fall of 2023, joining Zaide Lowery of Kickapoo, Missouri.
Marquette still has one scholarship available for next season.
